Coates Starling Resistant houses feature crescent shaped entry holes - if starlings are a problem in your area, this is a good choice for you. Made from lightweight, rust-proof aluminum, Starling Resistant houses are available with 8, 12, 16 or 28 rooms. The room sizes are 6" x 6" by 6", the generally recommended standard. Starling proof houses DO NOT include door plugs, see them here.

All Coates Houses ship unassembled and require time to build depending on the size model you order. The Manufacturer is now offering the option to have your Coates martin house ship fully assembled, see our pre assembly Options on the right. A perfect way to save you time before the season begins and also a great gift idea. Sorry, there is NO assembly option for the 28 room house model.

A Predator Guard is available for the 12 and 16 room house - this barrier helps to keep enemies such as hawks and owls at bay.
A Standard Pole works well with the 8 and 12 room houses. The Heavy Duty pole is recommended for the 16 and 28 room houses.
The 3 inch wide 14 foot Aluminum telescoping pole is weather resistant, light weight and very durable. See it here. Pole guard shown on this page does NOT work with the Coates aluminum pole or the Coates Heavy duty pole. Only works with the Coates standard pole or any pole with an outer diameter of 1 1/4"
